Jennifer Kim is the Assistant Organizing Director for the CALPIRG
Student Chapters based in Los Angeles. She works with students and

civic engagement, and make education more affordable.
She started working with CALPIRG as a campus organizer and helped to
establish the first chapter at the University of Southern California.
During her time there, students won numerous campaigns to increase
sustainability on campus and lobbied to pass the biggest increase in
federal higher education funding since 1944. Jennifer has also organized
at UCLA and campuses in the Los Angeles Community College District.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Organizing Director, she worked with
Progressive Future to register and mobilize voters in Ohio, Nevada and
Colorado for the 2008 election.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 with a degree
