Letter	Dear Senator , The mortgage crisis is taking its toll on everyone in California and the entire United States, not just those who are facing foreclosure. The huge budget deficit we are facing, and the tough choices we are having to make because of it, are because of the collapse of the housing market. We need the legislature to step up and find a solution that will keep this mortgage meltdown from happening again. AB 1830 by Assemblymember Ted Lieu, in its current form, has all the elements that will prevent the next crisis.
