Corruption was a top concern of voters in the last election. With the new congress, you are in a unique position to push for strong measures and change the culture in Washington. I urge you to support:

• Independent and professional ethics enforcement;

• New restrictions on gifts and travel paid for by special interests;

• Closing loopholes that allow former members of Congress undue infl uence immediately after leaving public service;

• Increasing transparency by strengthening lobbying and financial disclosure reporting by members and lobbyists.
