Does signing a ballot initiative put your identity at risk? Ballot initiatives seem to always be circulating and we are often asked to add our signature, so should we be concerned?
"When you sign on to a ballot initiative, you do not give any information that isn't in a telephone book and that is not enough to steal your identity," said consumer activist Jon Fox.
Fox is with CalPIRG and says he isn't aware of a single instance of identity theft was linked back to a ballot initiative. So don't let privacy concerns get in the way of practicing your constitutional rights.
