This week the United States Congress has created an exemption to the DISCLOSE Act that would only benefit one of the largest organizations that spends money on campaigns in the US, The National Rifle Association. The DISCLOSE Act is intended to remedy the “Citizens United” case that now allows corporations to spend unlimited money to run ads advocating for or against political candidates. |
