Sean Doyle is the digital organizer on the Democracy program for U.S. PIRG and state affiliates. Based in Denver, Sean works with staff across the country to leverage the power of social media, email and other online venues to create a democracy where everyone has an equal voice.
Prior to joining U.S. PIRG's democracy team, Sean was the digital campaigner for the national transportation team advocating for a cleaner, safer, transportation system. In that role, he played a critical role in establishing a new requirement for localities to consider and reduce carbon pollution from their transportation plans. Sean was also a campaign organizer with ConnPIRG for two years, primarily focused on public health and solid waste issues. During his time with ConnPIRG he helped pass a landmark recycling bill that will double recycling in Connecticut by 2024. He has also directed two door-to-door citizen outreach offices based in Hartford, Conn.
Sean graduated from Boston College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in biology.
