Nothing can ruin an afternoon more than being stuck on the freeway, inching your car forward one foot at a time. Here in California, we already have the worst traffic in the country. And it will keep getting worse as our transportation needs grow.

So, why don’t we create better travel options to get drivers off the roads?

A long-planned high-speed rail line connecting the Bay Area, the Central Valley, Los Angeles on down to San Diego will do just that. In fact, expert estimate that the high-speed train will take up to 92 million car trips off the road annually. 

We'll use this petition to convince elected officials to support a bond measure on the ballot in November to start laying the tracks. Then, ask all your friends and family to sign too!
